Mary Ann Wolf

Mary Ann L. Wolf, age 88, of Columbus, passed away on January 11, 2022.

She was born on June 25, 1933 in New Franklin, Ohio to Oscar L. and Alice (Mensch) Harsh Vandegrift.

Mary Ann graduated from Minerva High School. Over a career span of 35 years she managed operator services in Minerva, Oxford and Brookville for GTE (a predecessor of Verizon) until her retirement. She was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia (McKimmie) Hastings; step-son, Jesse (Jodi) Wolf; step-brothers, Nelson (Joanne) Vandegrift and Merle (Virginia) Vandegrift; sister-in-law, Delores Harsh; grandchildren, Katie, Becca and Aaron; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James F. McKimmie and James E. Wolf; brother, Paul M. Harsh; and step-brother, Melvin Vandegrift.

The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers at AVIA Senior Living in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, January 20th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Dan Cammarn will officiate. Interment will be held at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Minerva.
