A. Christine Kump, age 79, of Alliance, died at 3:12 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Aultman Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1930 in Alliance, Ohio, to David and Alice (Porter) Lockhart.
She was a 1948 graduate of Alliance High School and a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was a member of "The Gang of Seven Couples."
Survivors include her three children, Richard (Kathy) Kump of Artesia, New Mexico, David (Julie) Kump of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Joyce (David) Norton of Bradyville, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Matthew, Erin, Jonathan, Allison, Adam and Kelly; and two great grandsons, Brayden and Alexander.
Mrs. Kump was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Royce Kump, whom she married March 23, 1949 and who died May 1981.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 11394 Edison St., NE, Alliance, Ohio, 44601 with Pastor Joel Adkins officiating. Interment will be at Limaville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, Ohio, 44406-9274.
