Adele Wade, age 92, formerly of Deerfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday Evening, February 15, 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born November 26, 1914 in Newell, West Virginia to Jack and Mary Boner and moved to Deerfield in the summer of 1954. She resided in Deerfield until moving to Phoenix, Arizona with her family in 1998.
She was involved in many Deerfield community events and organizations. She was also an active member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Lake Milton.
After her retirement in 1979, she enjoyed traveling which became her favorite past time. In January 1998, her life long dream to become a grandmother was fulfilled with the birth of her granddaughter, Amanda.
Survivors include her son Allan (Linda), and 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Allan Jr. "AJ" of Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hadley whom she married November 28, 1946, and who died April 11, 1985 as well as her 3 sisters, Josephine, Rose, and Agnes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday with Fr. Donald Feicht officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be next to Hadley at Deerfield Cemetery.
