Agnes Josephine (Chenevey) Palosi age 86 of Alliance died at 5:50 p.m. Monday October 13, 2003 at Canterbury Villa.
She was born in Louisville on June 10, 1917 to Joseph and Josephine (Bresson) Chenevey and was a lifelong resident.
She attended Pilot Knob School and was formerly employed by Sears and Roebuck, W.J. Egli Company, and King's Department Store.
Mrs. Palosi was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Forester, and AARP. She was a past member of Regina Coeli Altar and Rosary Society, and the Alliance Friendship Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Jane Cojocar of Alliance, Jenny Palosi of Louisville, one son, Joseph A. (Pamela) Palosi of Louisville, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, John Chenevey of Alliance, James Chenevey of California, and Tom Chenevey of Louisville, and two sisters Lucille Buehler of Alliance, and Maxine Chenevey of Louisville.
Mrs. Palosi was preceded in death by her parents, one son Robert Palosi on Aug. 14, 1996, one sister Mary, three brothers Richard, Anthony and Andrew, and her husband Frank E. Palosi Jr., whom she married Aug. 24, 1940, and who died September 30, 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Regina Coeli Catholic Church with Fr. Patrick Manning officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
