Aileen J Mazzei

Aileen J. Mazzei, age 95, of Alliance, passed away on September 30, 2022.

She was born on February 22, 1927 in Alliance to Louie and Augusta (Bailey) Mohr.

Aileen graduated from Alliance High School in 1945 and worked as Babcock and Wilcox Tube as an inspector and later retired from Universal Co-Op. She was a member of First Christian Church and a social member of the VFW in Sebring. Aileen was formerly a member of BPOE auxiliary.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Diane M. (Tom) Warner; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter J. Mazzei, whom she married on January 18, 1947 and who passed September 10, 1974; two sons, Louie Peter and James Mazzei; her sister, Dorothy Berry; and two brothers John (Ruth) Mohr and George (Helen) Mohr.

A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
