Albert Carl Hundt, age 86, of Alliance, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born January 27, 1921 in Sebring, Ohio to George and Louisa (Tappe) Hundt and lived in Alliance since 1946. A graduate of Sebring McKinley High School, he retired from Alliance Machine Co. in 1977 after working as an electrician.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alliance, Conrad Masonic Lodge #271, William Penn Club, and was a past Dad of Demolay. He was a life member of VFW #6730 of Sebring, DAV #50 of Alliance, Roma Club and Roma Athletic Club. Mr. Hundt was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Lucille (Stark) Hundt, whom he married September 22, 1946; one son, Wayne Allen (Paula Best) Hundt of West Palm Beach, Fla; sister, Virginia Wilt of Beloit; and brother Dale (Marty) Hundt of Palm Bay, Fla.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one son, Stephen Albert Hundt whom died July 7, 2005.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Gross, Jr. of St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Masonic Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
