Alexander Albert Anderson

Alexander Albert Anderson Jr.  passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 84 following a long illness.

Alex was born in Alliance, Ohio on July 7th 1939 to Mary Jennette Anderson and Alexander Albert Anderson, Sr. and graduated from Alliance High School.

He was married to Shirley Ann (Conrad) Anderson for 56 happy years. Alex was a lifelong member of the Bricklayers & Craftworkers Local No. 6 Canton, Ohio and a longtime member of Beachwood Christian Church in Alliance. In addition to spending time visiting with family and friends, he enjoyed the sport of auto racing. He will be remembered by loved ones as a man always willing to lend a helping hand.

Alex is preceded in death by his father, Alexander Albert Anderson Sr. of Glasgow, Scotland, and his mother, Mary Jennette (Boyd) Anderson of West Virginia.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; step-sons, James Michael Puckett (Carolyn) of Tucson, AZ and Jeffrey Mark Puckett (Mary) of Dallas, TX; step-granddaughters, Chelsea Puckett and Erin Puckett; and his sister-in-law, Nancy Boals of Salem.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at Fairmont Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
