Alice Kepley, age 73 of Alliance, died at 12:53 a.m. March 27, 2005 at Canterbury Villa.
Mrs. Kepley was born September 4, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio to John and Mary (Stuart) Tipton and lived in Alliance since the 1970's.
She graduated from Columbus City Schools, and worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for NOVA Services, McCallum Insurance, Neal's Shoe Store, the YWCA and Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kepley was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She is survived by three children, Andy Kepley of Alliance, Mary Elizabeth Hancock of Dickson, Tennessee, and Catherine Lynne (Henry) Newsome, of Thorton, Colorado, one sister, Nancy Tracey of Connecticut, five grandchildren, Tina, Brett, Lisa, Matthew and Kelly, and two great-grandchildren, Anna Beth and Amaryllis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter, and one sister, Marilyn.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. William Lyle officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mount Union Cemetery.
