Alice L. Maloney, age 94, of Arizona, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Casa De Las Abuelos in Tucson, Arizona.
She was born August 21, 1915 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to J. Paul and J. Jeanette (Horton) Morris.
A 1933 graduate of Alliance High School, Alice was a member of the First Christian Church since 1946. Her hobbies included painting and she was a professional artist in Folk Art.
Survivors include her sons, Charles (Mary) Kilbreath of Tacoma, WA; and Gene (Sondra) Maloney of Tucson, AZ; brother, Bill (Faye) Morris of Bonners Ferry ID; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William Neal Maloney, whom she married July 25, 1946 and who died July 22, 1973; step son, Bill Maloney; sisters, Florence Bortz, Bertha Doyle and Dawn Reynolds; and brother, Lewis Morris.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Alliance City Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
