Alvin Dale Miller, age 54, of Alliance passed away at 8:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born July 2, 1955 in Salem to Neigal N. and Laverna E. (Sears) Miller.
Dale was a member of the First Church of God. He attended Alliance High School and graduated from Jewitt-Scio High School. He was an avid sports fan and follower of Alliance High School and American Legion baseball teams. He enjoyed fishing and boating.
Dale is survived by his wife, Marianne "Fuzz" (Smith) Miller of Alliance; one daughter, Brandi A. Miller of Alliance; siblings, James R. Miller of Strasburg; Peggy Miller of Alliance; and Glenn Miller of Minerva; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
