Andrew J. Bolog Jr., age 54 of Akron, died at 12:51 p.m. Friday March 7, 2008 at Akron City Hospital.
Mr. Bolog was born July 27, 1953 in Alliance, Ohio to Andrew J. Bolog Sr. and Doris (Cole) Bolog VanKampen and was a lifelong resident.
Andy attended Alliance Schools, and worked as a painter. He formerly attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his son, Drew Bolog of Alliance; step-son Matthew Ashbrook of Alliance; step-daughter, Lindsey Merriman of Stanford NC, brother, Craig (Pearl) Bolog of Alliance; sisters, Lori (Fred) Lyberger of Atlanta, Ga, and Robin (Steve) Caruso of Alliance, and step-brothers, Artie (Linda) VanKampen of Deerfield, and Gary VanKampen of Fla.
Mr. Bolog was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father, Arthur VanKampen.
Private family services will be held.
