Angeline E. Michael, age 91, of Alliance, died at 8:50 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born August 28, 1920, in Lowellville, Ohio, to Frank and Carmella (Ziccardi) Pasquale and has resided in Alliance since 1936.
Angeline attended Todd and Rayen High School in Youngstown, was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, and worked as a cashier at both the former Boston Store and the former A&P Store in Alliance.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (Donald) Zimpelman of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Lorene (Gene) Cook of Estero, Florida; four grandchildren; Marcie (Kirk) Rackow, David (Dee Dee) Zimpelman, Angela (Matthew) Marshall and Julie Cook; three great-grandchildren, Daniel Zimpelman and Noah and Avery Marshall; brother-in-law, John Michael of Alliance; one sister, Rose (Joseph) Sculli, of Youngstown; and two special nieces, Carol (Wilbur) Durm and Carmella (David) Stippich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin J. Michael, whom she married in 1938 and who died, May 11, 2010; three sisters; and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Matthew Mankowski officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will at Highland Memorial Park.
