Ann C. Culler, age 82, of Prescott, Arizona died August 12, 2007 at Las Fuentes Hospice Care Center in Prescott, Az.
She was born March 17, 1925 in Canton, Ohio to Martin J. and Christina (Fisi) Schorsten. In 1948 Ann married Virgil Culler, and in 1956 moved to Pasadena, Ca. Ann had a long career in the garment industry working as a supervisor for Ace High Dress making firm. While living in California, she was introduced to the Questors, an organization dedicated to the education, preservation and restoration of antique artifacts. She became a member in 1970, and was later instrumental in forming two new chapters in Prescott, Az. - the Mile High and the Prescott Pines Chapters.
She held many offices with Questors, both in Ca. and Az., including President on the state level, and Preservation and Restoration Chairman for the state of Arizona. Ann was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Prescott, Az.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Virgil Culler, of Prescott Az., and siblings, Christine Zank of Alliance, Martin J. "Slim" Schorsten of Ohio and Canada, George M. Schorsten of Lisbon, and Pauline V. Timms of Hawaii; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Michael Jacobs, Johanna M. Hartfield, and John Schorsten.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Freeburg Church of the Brethren with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Freeburg Cemetery.
