Anna J. Austin, age 89 of Alliance, died at 4:45 a.m. July 31, 2005 at Community Care Center.
She was born June 1, 1916 in Sherman, West Virginia to Clarence and Allie (Nesselroad) LeMaster and lived in Alliance since 1944.
She was employed as a Reeler at Viscose in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and she also worked at the Ravenna Arsenal.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl Willis, Diane Marteney, Anita Brocklehurst, and Lisa (Robert) Alfani, all of Alliance; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, one brother, Edward LeMaster of Portsmouth, Ohio; and two sisters, Kathleen (John) Seals, and Eloise Jackson, both of Sherman, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray E. Austin, whom she married Dec. 24, 1942 and who died September 1, 2002; three brothers, one sister, and one infant son.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Interment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery.
