Anne Elizabeth Rohrer

Anne Elizabeth (Kern) Rohrer, age 102, of Alliance passed away on October 18, 2021.

She was born on August 21, 1919 in Toledo to Peter and Fleet A. Kern.

Anne graduated from Bell Aire High School and later Kent State University. She taught at Washington Elementary School and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Anne served honorably in the United States Navy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara Sorge and Roberta Rohrer; son, Eric Rohrer; grandchildren, Samantha Rohrer and Christopher Cardinal; great-grandchildren, Max and Julia Cardinal; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Rohrer, whom she married on March 10, 1946 and who passed on August 21, 2005; one brother; and her infant daughter, Jane Anne Rohrer.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
