Annie Lee MacDonald age 82 of Alliance, died at 9:55 p.m. March 10, 2004 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born June 21, 1921 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Claude and Agnes (Fisher) Tew.
Mrs. MacDonald graduated from Leaf River High School in Petal, Mississippi and retired in 1975 after working as a repair clerk for the former Ohio Bell.
She was a member of Carnation City Baptist Church, D.A.V. Auxiliary, and life member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Mrs. MacDonald is survived by one nephew, Garland T. Willis of Beloit, four great-nephews, one great-niece, three great-great-nieces, four great-great-nephews, and her caregiver and best friend Dora Board of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Jesse J. Carter Jr., in 1976, her second husband, David MacDonald, whom she married Oct. 2, 1979, and who died Oct. 27, 1993, and one sister, Bonnell Swindell.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Edgar Tanley of Carnation City Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
