Arna J. (White) Poteet, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 8:25 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at her home.
She was born February 23, 1930, in Hartville, Ohio, to Donald and Ruth (Newman) White and was the last surviving member of 13 children.
Arna graduated from high school and was a caregiver to the elderly.
Survivors include her daughters, Barb Naugle and Bonnie Baker, both of Alliance and Connie Worley of Atwater; sons, Mike (Debbie) Poteet and Thomas Poteet, both of Alliance; and 23 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Richard J. Poteet, whom she married February 27, 1948 and who died March 1, 2007; four sons, Scott, Dick, Bill and Don; and 13 brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Alliance City Cemetery.
