Arthur E. Clark, (known as Elvis) age 72, of Alliance, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 23, 1939, in West Virginia, to the late Cleo Clark and Domma Gay (Kerns) Clark.
Arthur worked as a custodian for Alliance City Schools for 24 years.
He was a United States Navy Veteran from 1958 to 1963 having served on the USS WASP.
His survivors include his wife of 40 years, Johanna (Lang) Clark; daughters, Trina Clark-Wilson and her husband, Cullie, of Ft. Worth, TX, and Monica Freeders and Kristi Dawes and husband, Jeff, all of Alliance; sons, Arthur "Beanie" Clark and his wife, Cynthia, of Gilmer, TX, Stephen Clark of Beloit, Scott Kaley of Boardman, Brian Clark of Alliance and Rob Clark of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Travis Clark, Ryan Freeders, Destiny Dawes, Olivia Dawes, Amanda Hall, Nicole Clark, Brittany Clark, Jessica Smith, Travis Smith, Brittany Kaley, Ashley Kaley and Chelsy Kaley; great grandchildren, Cammi Eason and Sage Hall and beloved by many nieces and nephews whom he was known as "Uncle BoBo".
Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Maria Dawes; brother, Larry Clark; sisters, Betty Kaley, Erma Hill and Lucy Campbell; and grandson, Stephen Clark.
