Arthur E. Miller, age 85 of Alliance, died at his home at 11:35 p.m. May 11, 2005.
He was born June 16, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio to Charles and Hazel (Buckley) Miller, and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Mr. Miller was the owner and operator of Happynest Christmas Tree Farm, and formerly owned an antique business.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn (Keller) Miller, whom he married June 16, 1978; one son, Larry (Laura) Miller of Carlisle, Pa.; two daughters, Cheryl Durm of Alliance, and Stacia Wilson of Alliance; one step-daughter, Laura (Matt) Henson, of Suquamish, Wa., eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Kathryn Searfoss of Alliance, one aunt, Elaine Wealde, and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mildred Sabo, and one brother, Charles E. Miller.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Limaville Cemetery with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Limaville Cemetery.
