Arthur Trickett

Arthur Nelson Trickett, age 80, passed away at Crandall Medical Center, on the campus of Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, Sebring, Ohio on September 3, 2020. His wife, Donna, of 53 years, was able to be present.

Born in Morgantown, West Virginia on February 25, 1940, Nelson moved to Utica, Ohio along with his brother Lennie and Loretta

Nelson joined the Navy in 1958, where he began his interest in flying.  After two years of college at Miami University of Ohio, he proceeded toward a flying career.  From Lake Central Airlines to eventually a captain on a MD-80 for USAir, he loved to fly.  But he also loved to work with children, which he and his wife did for 26 years.

Those who will be left to cherish his memory are: his wife; Donna Trickett, his son; Kirk Arthur Trickett; daughter in law, Sabrina Kay Trickett; brother, Lennie Trickett, sister Loretta Michael, grandson; Joseph Trickett, granddaughter; Savanna Trickett, great grandchildren; O’Brian Trickett, Jazlyne Trickett, Colton Trickett, and Abel Trickett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Frances Trickett and their daughter, Kimberly Dawn Trickett.  A graveside service will be held in Townville, Pennsylvania at a future date.
