Aubrey Paulette Trautman, age 15, of Alliance, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at her home.
She was born January 17, 1996, in Akron, to Fred and Lynne (Gansel) Trautman.
Aubrey was a freshman at Alliance High School, where she was a member of the girls' soccer team, softball team, an honor roll student, and member of the AHS Marching Band. Aubrey began playing soccer at the age of four, with ACSC, was a member of the Washington Soccer Club, and was a referee for ACSC. She was also a member of the Alliance YMCA and the Alliance High School Swim Teams; and was a teen instructor with the Carnation Careful City.
Aubrey was outgoing, friendly and marched to the beat of her own drum.
She will be sadly missed and dearly loved by her family, including her parents, Fred and Lynne Trautman; older brother, Connor Trautman of the home; maternal grandparents, Paulette Gansel of Alliance, and David (Judy) Gansel of Crestview, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Joan Trautman of Randolph, and Fred M. Trautman of Damascus; maternal aunts and their families, Autumn (Tom) Schmidt and Caleb and Emmy of Cincinnati, and Heather (Jim) Mathews and Spencer, Tanner and Piper of Alliance; paternal aunts, uncles and their families, Barb (Terry) Fox and Amanda and Tyler, all of Atwater, Jackie Esselburn and Ian of Suffield, Brian (Karalyn) Trautman and Brian Michael, Kayla, Kerrie and Jarett, of Randolph; Joanie (Gary) Harrison and Samantha and DJ Loudin, and Isabel and Ava Harrison of Mogadore; and many great aunts, uncles, cousins, extended supporting and loving family and many friends, including uncles, Tim Esselburn and Dale Loudin.
Preceding her in death was her maternal great-grandma, Reinette Calabria.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Marty Cash-Burless officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. In honor of Aubrey's memory, informal dress is requested.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Girls' Soccer team, in care of Alliance City Schools Athletic Department, 200 Glamorgan St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
