Barbara E. Miller, age 92, of Sebring, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born January 22, 1917 in Alliance to John and Alla (Oyster) Heim.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Barbara was a member of the East Alliance Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed reading and sewing.
Survivors include her two granddaughters, Diana (Brian) Lester of Waynesburg, Ohio and Donna Dotson of Wintersville, Ohio; three grandsons, Randall Smith Jr., Raymond (Lisa) Smith and John "Ricky" (Becky) Smith, all of Weirton, WV; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond E. Miller, whom she married March 15, 1936 and who died in 1977; her son, Raymond Miller Jr. who died in 1977; her daughter, Joyce Smith in 2007; two half-brothers, Bud Heim and John Heim and half-sister, Lois Barker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Glenn Moser officiating. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
