Barbara Lee Englehart Vaughn age 58 of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 2, 2004. She was born on September 30, 1945 in Salem, Ohio.
Barbara devoted her life to her family and friends. The love she gave will always be cherished and now will be shared with the Lord for eternity.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Barbara retired from Canterbury Villa, after working as a nurse's aid for 30 years. Once retired, she dedicated the rest of her life to caring for her family.
We all love you; wife, mother, and you will always be in our hearts.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Gary A. Vaughn, whom she married Feb. 9, 1968, six children, Gary O. (Theresa J.) Vaughn of Columbus, Kenneth W. Vaughn, John P. Vaughn, James A. Vaughn, and Randy G. Vaughn, all of Alliance, and Patti M. (James M.) Richards of Dellroy, Ohio, three sisters Beverly (Clinton) Lambert, Mary (Sam) Gillingham, both of Alliance, and Susan (Jerry) Riechart of North Canton. She will be missed by her 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her very best friend Lorene Barnett and many more friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty (Richards) Englehart, her sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Herbert McGowan, her mother-in-law, Helen Wilson, one granddaughter and three nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
