Barbara Jane (Mohr) Ziegler, age 88, of Alliance, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born January 22, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to Alfred James and Irene Francis (Ritchie) Mohr and was a lifelong resident of Alliance.
A 1947 graduate of Alliance High School, Barbara was a member of Vine Street United Methodist Church where she taught the Sunday School Class.
She was also a Girl Scout and Brownie Leader in Alliance.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Anne (Thomas) Rawlings-Koerner of Alliance; grandson, Christopher Jon Rawlings; and great-granddaughter, Chrissie Rawlings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred William Ziegler, whom she married April 8, 1949 and who passed away February 26, 2006.
Private family services were held with interment at Alliance City Cemetery.
