Beatrice V. Marshall, age 86 of Alliance, died at 4:03 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2004, at her home.
She was born July 15, 1917, in Alliance, Ohio to William H. and Ida (Wise) Slusser, and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Marshall graduated from Alliance High School in 1936 and retired as Cafeteria Manager at Marlington Middle School, after 20 years of service with Marlington Schools.
She was a member of Bolton United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, and member and officer of United Methodist Women. Mrs. Marshall created quilts, crafts and music, and enjoyed her family and friends
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ralph A. Marshall, one daughter Margaret (David) Bloor of Homeworth, one son Larry (Patricia) Marshall of Louisville; six grandchildren Michael Blymiller, Steven Blymiller, Patricia Blymiller, Jeff Marshall, Jennifer Petrack and Julie Fildes, two step-grandsons David and Jonathan Bloor; six great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; one brother Donald (Peg) Slusser of Alliance, one sister Lois (Campbell) Snowden of Alliance, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Carolyn A. Blymiller, three brothers Theodore, Edward and Ernest Slusser, and one sister Erma Varga.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Dr. David Bloor officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Sunday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
