Beatrice Donham Custar Ross is at peace in her final resting place, after passing away at Bel-Air Care Center on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
She was born July 12, 1940 in Diamond, Ohio to Helen Stewart and Ernest Donham.
A graduate of Southeast High School, Beatrice was a homemaker and loved to help other people. She enjoyed going to church with her close friends Debbie and Kevin.
She fought a short but hard battle with cancer at Bel-Air Care Center, with the help of Community Hospice of Tusc, Stark, and Wayne Counties. Special thanks to Samantha Weiss, her caregiver.
Beatrice is survived by her husband, Angelo Ross; daughter, Shannon Custar; son, Erik Custar; granddaughters, Ashley Nicholson, and Cora Custar; great grandson, Da'Veon Snodgrass; brother, Tuffy (Suzie) Donham; sister, LaDonna (Paul) Gabor; sister-in-law, Peg Donham; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Honey and Peanut.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Karen Beckett and Pat McMann, and brothers, John, Bill and Jim; and grandson, Anthony Nicholson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shannon Custer, c/o 1224 22nd St. NW, Canton, Ohio 44709, to be used for the discretion of the family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Marlboro Christian Church with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
