Beatrice Sluss

Beatrice E. Joslin Sluss age 90 of Alliance, died at 2:30 a.m. February 23, 2004 at Crandall Medical Center.
Mrs. Sluss was born March 21, 1913 in Alliance to Raymond and Lucy Dye, and was a lifelong resident.
She graduated from Alliance High School and Mount Union College.
Many people became acquainted with Beatrice while she worked at her family's business, Dye Pharmacy.
A member of First Christian Church, Mrs. Sluss was also a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at Mount Union and Eastern Star Chapter 296 of Alliance.
Survivors include; step-daughter Mary (Ron) Kron of Alliance, step-son Tom Sluss of Durango, Colorado, daughter Sharon Vilscek, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sluss was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ernie Joslin, her second husband, Robert Sluss, and her step-daughter, Jane Ermlich.
A private family service will be held with Pastor Craig Jones officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
