Bernadine (Oliver) Collins

Bernadine Marie Collins, age 91 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 in Alvin, Texas.

Bernadine was born on August 28, 1927 in Marietta, Ohio.

Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Collins; parents, Merle Oliver and Dorothy Hickman; son, Bruce Collins; sisters, Myrtle Oberlin and Dorothy Yost.

Bernadine is survived by her daughter, Gloria Lane; sons, Dale Collins, Davy Collins and wife Pat, James Robert Collins and wife Lucille; sister, Donna Jean Mozzochi; brothers, James Hickman and Tim Oliver; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to be made to their favorite charity.
