Bernice Lillis, age 93, formerly of Alliance, died at 11:20 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Chapel Hill Community in Canal Fulton.
She was born April 21, 1919, in East Liverpool, OH, to Homer and Bessie (Gabbert) Franklin.
A 1937 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Bernice was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Steve (Marcia) Lillis of North Canton; granddaughter, Anne Lillis; and sister, Mildred Boyce of Alliance.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, John Lillis, whom she married May 31, 1941, and who died January 9, 1986.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor David Ashbrook officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012.
Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
