Betty Jane Allen, age 85, of Alliance, passed away at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born July 21, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to Robert and Flossie (Evans) Allen and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Betty was a 1947 graduate of Alliance High School and employed as a bookkeeper with Hykon Manufacturing in Alliance until 1994. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include nieces, Jo Ann Werbung, Pat (Bruce) Helsel and Sandy Blair, all of Alliance; nephews, Michael (Darlene) Myers of Colorado and John C. (Lynn) Myers of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy (John) Werbung and Mary (Donald) Myers.
There will be no services.
