Betty Hall

August 19, 1917 — April 23, 2008

Betty Cabassa Hall, age 90, of Alliance, died at 1:54 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born in Manchester, England, August 19, 1917 to Thomas and Ethel (Brown) Spencer and resided in Alliance since 1938.
Betty was a former member of the Plymouth Brethren Church and later at the Christian Missionary Alliance.
Betty received her education in England and was a Realtor for the former E.J. Plott and by Tanner Realtors. She was a member of the Ohio State Board of Realtors.
Survivors include her daughters, Heather Cabassa of Ashland Mass. and Shannon (Peter) Hendrickson of Boxford, Mass.; a son, Russell (Ellen) Cabassa of Alliance; five grandchildren, Sabrina, Dustin, Carissa, Kelsey and Whitney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Geoffrey Spencer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Hanson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Canton First Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 522 30th St. NW, Canton, Ohio 44709.
