Betty C. Krannich, age 87, of Marlboro, died at 12:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 13, 1924, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Ross and Esther Ann (Wolverton) Lodge Batton and has resided in Marlboro since 1954.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lorna R. Krannich; and sister, Eleanor Krannich of Sebring.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Emil "Jim" F. Krannich, whom she married December 25, 1948, and who died December 18, 1991; son, Emil Ross Krannich; two sisters, Marjorie Westfall and Thelma Gentner; and two brothers, Charles Walter Lodge and Clinton Lodge.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Bret Sanor officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
