Betty Walters, age 88 of Alliance, died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday March 3, 2007 at Community Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1918 in Vanport, Pennsylvania to Harry L. and Hazel M. (Douds) Walters and moved to Alliance from Akron two years ago.
Betty was a member of the Grace Cathedral in Akron. She loved to bake and enjoyed singing.
She is survived by two sisters, Gladys Dover of Sebring and Violet Beckman of Norton; one brother, Harry L. Walters Jr. of Ocala, Florida; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at Noon Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hoffman and Rev. Brock Miller officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
