Betty Watts

Betty E. Watts, age 89, of Wooster, formerly of Alliance, died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday April 29, 2007 at Westview Manor in Wooster.
She was born in Alliance, Ohio on April 5, 1918 to William and Maude (Green) Elliott and was a lifelong resident.
Betty graduated from Alliance High School and received her L.P.N. from Timken School of Nursing. She retired in 1988 from Alliance City Water Department after working 30 years in the Clerical Dept.
Mrs. Watts was a member of the First Church of God, where she was a former church Trustee, former member of the Board of Christian Education and former Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include her daughter Rosemary (Bob) Marren of Wooster; son Mark David (Candy) Watts of Wooster; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank G. Watts whom she married Sept. 16, 1950 and who passed away June 20, 2006, four sisters and six brothers.
Private Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Lias officiating.
