Betty E. Wells, age 85, of Alliance passed away at 11:26 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1924 in Carrollton, Ohio to Harry and Laura (Nelson) Kirby.
Betty graduated from Alliance High School and was employed by B&W Research as a receptionist until retiring.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, BPOE 467 Auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge.
Survivors include her husband Walter W. Wells whom she married, July 15, 1944; one sister, Katherine Haberland of Sebring; one niece and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Charles W. Kirby.
A private service will be held at a later date with interment at Highland Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio, 44601.
