Betty F. Williams

Betty F. Williams, age 87, of Alliance, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home.
She was born October 16, 1930, in Dothan, Alabama to Crawford and Laura (Aaron) Calloway.
She was employed as a cook at Mount Union College.
Betty was a member of Triumph Church and Kingdom of God in Christ of Alliance. She was extremely proud of working at Mount Union College, was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved listening to Pastor Tim Rogers, the Gospel Singer.
She is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Crawford and Leonard F. (Deborah) Ward, both of Dothan, Alabama and Dwight D. Williams of Canton; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a special grandson and caregiver, Deon Dorsey; and sister, Ruby Sanders.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, David M. Williams; and siblings, Annie, Rosie, Laura, Etta, Gussie, Mildred, Roosevelt, Henry, John and Elbert.
Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Triumph Church and Kingdom of God in Christ Church 683 S. Linden Ave., Alliance, OH 44601. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
