Betty L. Williamson

Betty L. Williamson, age 89, of North Benton, passed away at 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at her daughter's home. She was born June 23, 1928, in New Cumberland, West Virginia, to Irel and Mildred (Molen) Glover. Betty was a member of Alliance Friends Church. Survivors include her children, Gerald (Nancy) Williamson, Katherine (Roger) Meir, and Ronnie (Paige) Williamson; grandchildren, Beth (Tim) Lord, Jonathan (Nicole) Meir, David (Heather) Meir, Benjamin (Kirstie) Williamson and Lee (Stevie) Williamson; sister, Wanda Wells; and 12 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maynard Lyle Williamson, whom she married April 25, 1946; and grandson, Shane Williamson. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Alliance Friends Church. Friends may call from 11 to 1 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Hospice. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
