Betty J. Zevada

Betty J. Zevada, age 93, of Alliance, passed away on January 4, 2022.

She was born on July 29, 1928 in Alliance to Harry and Katherine (Buchel) Evans.

Betty attended Alliance City Schools. She worked for the former Bonney Forge, Strand and Morrison Theaters. Betty enjoyed cooking, going to card club, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Carolyn (Joe) Dyke, Shirley Ruff and Wayne Zevada; two grandsons, Joshua Ruff and James Welling; great-grandchildren, Julia Welling and Randy Welling; many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Annie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Albert Zevada, whom she married May 15, 1947 and who passed March 26, 2004; and her brother, Laverne “Spike” Evans.

A private graveside service will be held at Alliance City Cemetery.
