Betty June (Shepherd) Gray

Betty June (Shepherd) Gray, age 85, of Alliance, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 at her home.

She was born December 13, 1933, in Miami, Florida to John and Mozell (Williams) Shepherd.

Betty loved attending Feed My Sheep Ministries. She was always an encourager, very uplifting and brave in everything she did.

She will be forever loved and missed by her family, especially her daughters, Theresa (Gray) Monroe and Vanessa “DD” Gray; granddaughters, Tasha and Sierra Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harold “Bishop” Gray, whom she married December 11, 1954 and who died August 12, 2010; sons, Clifford “Lucky” Gray, George E. Gray, and Christopher Gray.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Williams officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
