Blanche Orintha Conrad, loving mother and grandmother, age 91, of Washington Township, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance. She was born June 30, 1916, in Alliance to Harvey and Mina (Eutzly) Domino and graduated from Alliance High School.
She married Vernon L. Conrad on April 26, 1942, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses West Congregation.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, who died on Jan. 5, 1994; her parents; two sisters, Rebecca Hiddleson and Ruth Cameron; and a brother, Donald Domino.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Tana) Conrad of Homeworth, Jerry Conrad of Willow, Alaska, Annette (John) Whitacre of Plain Township, Vernon D. "Buzz" (Karen) Conrad of Edison, N.J., and Nancy (Tim) Daniels of Alliance; grandchildren, Jeff (Debbie) Conrad of Medina, Jennifer (Victor) Johns of Alliance, Tito Overly of Marion, Missy Overly of Canton, Nancy A. (Robert) Dorsey of Plain Township, Laura (Bob) Meyer of Royersford, Pa., Isaac Conrad of Edison, N.J., Kimberly (Daniel) Sziber of Alliance, Michelle (Donald) Lineberger of Alliance, and Matthew Goshorn of Alliance; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Helen Oesch, of New Franklin; a sister-in-law, Dagne Domino, of South Milwaukee, Wis.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian
Funeral Home in Alliance, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Frank Porter officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park in Washington Township.
