Brenda K. Roar, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born November 13, 1956, in Alliance, Ohio, to Stanley and Clara (Stevens) Roar and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1975 graduate of Marlington High School, Brenda was employed as a machine operator at Buckeye Packaging for more than 38 years.
Brenda loved spending time with her son and grandson and going on shopping trips.
Survivors include her two brothers, Stanley (Cindy) Roar and Kevin Roar, both of Alliance; son, Logan Grimm of Alliance; grandson, Xavier Grimm; two nieces, Seidina (Roger) Geiselman and Amanda (Jeremy) McCammon; two nephews, Stanley (Gail) Roar and Gregory (Amber Lemasters) Roar; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice for their compassion and care of Brenda.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Freewill Baptist Church 731 Buckeye Ave. Alliance.
