Bret A. Ferguson

Bret A. Ferguson, age 58, of Alliance, passed away at 8:17 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

He was born July 14, 1961 in Pasadena, CA to William and Nancy (Warner) Ferguson.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Bret was a skilled craftsman and worked many years as a self-employed drywaller.

Bret loved music having taught himself to play the trumpet, piano, harmonica and many other instruments.

He also enjoyed travelling with his wife, playing golf, bowling, animals and anything that would take him outdoors.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Penny, Cristina (Anthony Pugh) Ferguson and Bret A. Ferguson Jr.; grandchildren, Anthony, Jr., Paige, Tyler, Hayden, Rory, Levi, Wells and Braxton; siblings, Greg (Brenda) Ferguson, Penny Murphy and Karla Ferguson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Ann (McMahan) Ferguson, who passed away August 19, 2016; and brother, Robert Ray Pritchard.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First Church of God with Pastor Dale Gruver officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
