Bruce A. Hill

Bruce A. Hill, age 78, of Alliance, passed away December 26, 2021 at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

He was born February 4, 1943 to Walter E. Hill Sr. and Mabel Anne (Engle) Hill.

Bruce was a graduate of Alliance High School and worked for the Pennsylvania Conrail Railroad as a brake man and conductor. Bruce was also a PADI scuba diver and was one of the oldest people to receive this certification. He was of the Christian faith and loved metal detecting, fishing, horticulture and cats. Bruce could build anything.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Hamlin Jr., whom he married on July 19, 2008; two sons; three grandchildren; siblings; Sally A. Arbaugh of Alliance, Sandra Sue (Ken) Russell of Alliance, Robin E. (Steve) McIntyre of Minerva; Dennis L. (Theresa) Hill, Walter E. (Debbie) Hill Jr. and Michael L. (Susan) Hill, all of Alliance; sister-in-law, Olice Hill; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews;

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don F. Hill, sister, Wendy J. Lombardi; and a grandson, Michael Craig Hill.

Services will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on

Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
