Bruce E. Irwin

Bruce E. Irwin, age 74, of Canton, passed away on July 17, 2021.

He was born on July 15, 1947 in Alliance to Francis L. Irwin and Adeline M. Irwin.

Bruce worked for Barberton Babcox and Wilcox for 43 years. After his retirement, his passion was volunteering at Beech Creek Botanical Gardens. He enjoyed studying genealogy and visiting Civil War battlefields. Bruce was a lifelong Cleveland Brown’s and Mount Union Football fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sherry Casey Irwin, whom he married on June 10, 1967; son, Scott Irwin; his daughter, Jenni and son-in-law, Mark Storey; sister, Margaret “Peggy” Lucas; and his little buddies, Chloe, Casey, Snickers and Sheba.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Bruce’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beech Creek Botanical Garden, 11929 Beech St. NE, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
