Bruce L. Laubert

Bruce L. Laubert, age 90, of Alliance, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Community Care Center of Alliance.

He was born August 10, 1928,  in Atwater, Ohio, to the late Lester and Cecile (Kingsbury) Laubert.

Bruce was a graduate of Atwater High School and formerly employed with Babcox and Wilcox Tubular Products as a Superintendant of Inspection for more than 37 years. During his retirement years, he and his wife, Barbara spent winter months in Lakeland, Florida for 13 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He enjoyed fishing, reading and golfing. He was a 17 year member of both the Alliance Country Club and Sleepy Hollow Country Clubs. He attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Bruce’s wife, Barbara (Cracknell)  Laubert whom he married July 23rd, 1955, survives him along with his brother, Ralph (Gloria) Laubert of Ravenna; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2019, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Cannon officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
