Bruce C. Miller

Bruce C. Miller, age 66, passed away on August 30, 2023.

He was born on March 27, 1957, in Riverside, California, to George and Donna (Carlisle) Miller.

Bruce graduated from Alliance High School in 1975 and Kent State in 1979. He worked for the Ohio EPA Emergency Response team for 30 years and served the Washington Township Fire Department for 17 years. Bruce also served with the Ohio Military Reserve and was an advanced EMT for Rural Metro and Bartley Ambulance. He was a member of Holy Assumption Orthodox Church where he was a tonsured Reader.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Stephanie (Hutto) Miller; his daughters, Lindsey (Joshua) Anstine and Abigail (Michael) Boosinger; grandchildren, Maggie and Jacob Anstine and Lucas Boosinger; several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Hutto (Belle) and Sonya Morrow; and a brother-in-law, Jim Hutto.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A Panikhida service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral liturgy will be at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church on Wednesday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Augusta Cemetery.
