Carl L. Holsinger age 82 of Alliance died at Aultman Hospital at 4:10 a.m. November 19, 2003.
He was born March 15, 1921 in Conway, Pennsylvania to Arthur L. and Ada L. (Bailey) Holsinger.
Mr. Holsinger graduated in 1940 from New Cumberland High School in West Virginia and retiring in 1982 as foreman/supervisor at Transue and Williams, after working there for 33 years.
A World War II Veteran, Mr. Holsinger served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer - Gunnery Division, with tours of duty in the South Pacific, European and Asia.
Mr. Holsinger was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for over 40 years, and member of the Vets and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Alberta Gayle (Sayre), whom he married May 7, 1948, two daughters Peggy (Bob) Keen of Warsaw, Ohio, and Janet (John) Fisher of Alliance, one son, David (Jesse) Holsinger of Florida, two sisters, Juanita Custer of Minerva and Jean Feil of Wichita, Kansas, one brother Wayne Holsinger, nine grandchildren Laura, Barbara, Andrew, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeremy, Melissa, Jason and Meaghan, and five great grandchildren, Hunter, Ranelle, Abigail, Michaela and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
