Carl Knipp

Carl F. Knipp, age 65, of Olmstead Township, Ohio, died July 8, following an extended illness. Surviving Mr. Knipp is his wife Lorraine, his parents Dempsey A. and Nettie L. (Dean) Knipp, a daughter Cheryl Raffay, and sons Timothy, Douglas and Scott. He also has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Carl was also survived by his sisters, Mrs. Chester (Gladys) Bryant and Mrs. Charles (Cathern) Turner, and brothers Dempsey Jr., Donald, Phillip, and James. Preceding him in death were sisters Hazel Aldridge and Jeanetta Jones.
Carl was born in Lawrence County, Ohio and grew up in Alliance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Carl retired from the Ford Company. He was a member of the Mason's Club.
Family and friends may call Monday, July 12, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 13, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Caldwell of the Maranatha Church of God. He will be assisted by Delania Kaiser. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ohio Federation of the Blind.
