Carl E. Mauck, age 59, of Alliance, died at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born October 9, 1948 in Alliance, Ohio to Clifford A. and Oma (Mosier) Mauck and was an Alliance and Atwater resident.
Mr. Mauck attended Atwater Schools and was employed as a loader and operator at Lafarge for 33 years.
He was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple where he was a Deacon, Trustee and Assistant Treasurer and worked the sound system and was announcer of the radio broadcast. He liked to fish and enjoyed working with wood.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Glenda I. (Hoover) Mauck of Alliance; children, Jessica A (Chuck) Lloyd of Alliance and Jason A. (Shar) Mauck of Canton; two grandsons, Robert Courtney III and Anthony Courtney, both of Alliance; and one brother, Roger (Rita) Mauck of Clarksville, TN.
Mr. Mauck was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, James Mauck.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Alliance Baptist Temple with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
