Carl W. Schell

Carl W. Schell, age 95 of Alliance, passed away at 3:01 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Community Care Center.
He was born December 23, 1922, in Alliance, Ohio, to Stephano and Anna (Bolog) Schell. A January 1942 graduate of Alliance High School, Mr. Schell worked as a Carpenter for Tolerton's before working at American Steel. A Christian by faith, Carl was a lifemember of the Eagles and Roma Society. Survivors include his daughter, Sherry (Tony) Ganni; grandsons, Carl, Jeffery, Christopher, Jason,and Michael; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joy (Turner) Schell, who died February 14, 2002; sons, Carl and Steven; and siblings, Ann, Mary, John, Tillie, Frank, Richard, and Stephen. A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alliance City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Healing Prayer at Bedtime
Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, go back into my memory as I sleep. Every hurt that has ever been done to me - heal that hurt. Every hurt that I have caused to another person - heal that hurt. All the relationships that have been damaged in my whole life that I'm not aware of - heal those relationships.
But Lord, if there is anything that I need to do - if I need to go to a person because he is still suffering from my hand, bring to my awareness that person.
I choose to forgive, and I ask to be forgiven. Remove whatever bitterness may be in my heart, Lord, and fill the empty spaces with your love.
Thank you Jesus, Amen.
